In FY2018, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration awarded $2.9 Billion Small Business contracts to firms across the country, including HUBZone-certified, women-owned and veteran-owned businesses.

To make market research faster, to review capability statements and find eligible firms prepared to respond to their mission needs, NASA depends on their own Vendor and Subcontractor Database, in addition to external databases such as DSBS (Dynamic Small Business Search)

QUICK FACTS

The vision of the Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) at NASA Headquarters is to promote and integrate all small businesses (including HUBZone firms) into the competitive base of contractors that pioneer the future of space exploration, scientific discovery, and aeronautics research.
